All of these class offerings listed below (with many, MANY more to come in the following months) will be included for FREE in your registration to FLOAT 2026. So take a moment to review them now as we get ready for Reno in January!

“Engaging Balloon Costumes” with Jessica Cruz Torres Presented by Joker Party Supply
Class Elements – Linking Balloons, Weaving, Costume Construction One of the biggest ways to stand apart from your competitors is by offering wearable pieces. In this class, participants will also discover how to create full-scale, wearable balloon costumes. These life-sized designs—made with linking balloons—can be worn by yourself, your team or your clients to engage with crowds, adding an interactive and entertaining element to any event.

“Interactive 3-D Balloon Sculptures” with Jessica Cruz Torres

This class will focus on crafting eye-catching, interactive installations that create memorable social media moments. Participants will learn how to use various latex types, netting, and aluminum mechanics to construct unique 3D structures. You won’t have to imagine how to make things like wing murals, life sized cars and the like, because after this class you will be able to MAKE them from techniques you’ll learn here.

“Let’s Party with Proms” with Dawn Girtman

Class Elements – Traditional Decor, Marketing, Upselling Prom Season is fast upon us, and there’s a LOT of money to be made. In this class, Dawn will show you how she goes about contacting schools and marketing her services for Prom decorations. She’ll also demonstrate some popular designs and how to cater them to a variety of themes. So grab your corsages and get those tuxes ready…it’s time to head back to school!

“Linking Ocean Pals” with Sara Meyer
Presented by Havin’ a Party

Class Elements – Sculptures, Linking Balloons, Weaving Come join us under the sea as we build aquatic animals using linking balloons. Not only will we walk through recipes and techniques, but Sara will also explain how to reverse engineer recipes from existing pieces and inspirational photos. After this class, you’ll be “hooked” on links after Sara demonstrates a shark, dolphin and jellyfish.

“Marking Up Marquees” with Ayriel Rush and Ray Walsh
Presented by All American Balloons

This class features a tailored focus on how to use twisting skills to enhance Marquees, centerpieces, columns and arches. You will learn several different weaving techniques like basket weaving, x-weaves, chain weaves and more. Ayriel and Ray will demonstrate how to incorporate these into your decor or twisted pieces like dresses, costumes and custom shapes. This class will help you add value to your work and allow you to increase your profit margin with a minimal amount of extra balloons.

“One Zero at a Time; Your Path to Building the Business of Your Dreams” with Jill Shortreed
Presented by Anagram Balloons

Your first organic sale is the hardest (organic as in natural, not the stylized decor). Jill will show you how there is enough out there for everyone. The class will explore proven marketing strategies to maintain steady revenue throughout the year. You’ll learn how to build a customer retention plan, leverage social media and email marketing, and create seasonal promotions to drive consistent traffic. By the end of this class, you’ll have a roadmap to increase your sales and grow your business with confidence.

“Secrets Beneath the Waves” with Jenny Porter

Class Elements – Duplet Square Pack, Helium, Sculptures, Creative Process This class is sure to be unique…not only are you going to learn how to make really fun and sellable decor for an “Under the Sea” theme, but you’ll also learn how to overcome things when your creative juices just aren’t flowing. So join Jenny as she guides you through fun design work showcasing numerous pieces for an aquatic theme. So learn to “float” and unload what’s weighing you down…

“Twist and Bloom – Modeling Balloon Flowers” with Noeli Remiro

Class Elements – Distortion, Twisting Balloons, Textures In this class, participants will learn how to make stunning, multi-tonal balloon flowers that bring elegance and charm to any decor. The focus will be on color balance, structure, and detail, ensuring each flower has a natural and harmonious appearance. And then, learn how to step them up even further with glitter, confetti and different textures to elevate the designs even further.

“Whimsy in the Woods” with Jenny Porter

Class Elements – Duplet Square Pack, Sculptures, Arches Get ready to visit the lands of fairies and wonder as Jenny Porter guides you through a clever balloon arch design that incorporates a 3-D mushroom. And no need for expensive hardware because this design is built entirely on an inexpensive and disposable frame system so anyone can ultimately build it. Perfect for spring events, Alice in Wonderland and more, this class will absolutely show you how to think “outside the arch.”

“Your Marketing Blueprint: Using Experiential Marketing to Attract, Engage, and Convert Clients” with Alissa Murray Lane

Class Elements – Photo Ops, Marketing, Social Media This class will teach you how to create an immersive balloon experience campaign and turn it into a brand experience clients can’t ignore. You’ll use an engaging classroom backdrop featuring branding as a photo op to snap a picture and share it on social media. From there, we will cover where and when to host such an experience, harness social media and niche marketing to attract ideal clients, utilize lead magnets to drive conversions and boost sales and implement email marketing strategies
